I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff was exceptionally accommodating and made an effort to upgrade my room for a reasonable additional cost, the overall comfort was lacking due to old rooms that had issues with noise. The location was charming, close to local restaurants, but a little removed from typical tourist spots. The dining options were decent, though the prices for some meals felt a bit high compared to the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, the rooms felt quite dated and had some maintenance issues. There were also pesky flies in the bathroom, which was off-putting. On the bright side, my room was comfortable and well-appointed.
Service
10.0
The service was exceptional! Upon arrival, the staff found a cancellation and upgraded me to a beautiful suite overlooking Rome for just an extra €30. They were very responsive and friendly throughout my stay.
Location
7.0
The location was quaint, with nice restaurants for dinner and in close proximity to the town square. However, it's not very frequented by foreign tourists, which made it a bit challenging to find English speakers in some restaurants.
Dining
7.0
The dining was a mixed bag; while the breakfast included a good variety of fruits and cereals, some of the restaurant prices felt a bit steep. However, I did enjoy the fresh local fish options.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent facilities, but nothing particularly outstanding that would elevate the stay. I didn't use many of the amenities, so I can't comment much on that.

The hotel has a lovely setting with beautiful views, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. However, the service during dining could be improved as it felt rushed, and the breakfast options were lacking. The location is nice but a bit isolated from city attractions, making it a quieter stay overall.

Rooms

The rooms were nice, featuring large windows and a big bathroom, all very clean. I appreciated the beautiful view and the comfortable enough bed.
Service

The service was friendly and helpful, but at times it seemed like the staff was more focused on clearing tables than attending to guests.
Location

The hotel is set in a beautiful area, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. Although we didn't get a chance to explore it fully, it looked lovely.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was more than satisfying, with a good variety of hot and cold options. However, I was disappointed by the lack of fresh juices and real coffee options.

I found the hotel to have a beautiful location, nestled in the hills south of Rome, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms, although spacious, felt a bit outdated, and the service had its moments, especially with a somewhat rude staff member leaving us stranded at the train station. Dining was decent, with breakfast options that were good, though not overly plentiful. The facilities, particularly the pool area and gardens, were lovely and inviting, which made up for some shortcomings in other areas.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious but felt somewhat dated, which was a little disappointing.
Service

The hotel offers a friendly and helpful service, and the location is charming, allowing access to beautiful nearby towns. However, the rooms are in dire need of renovation and comfort, resembling cells with minimal natural light. While dining had its moments, it didn't quite meet the expectations of a four-star hotel.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite disappointing; they felt like 'cells' with only one high window that didn't close properly, letting in the wind all night. They really need a facelift.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and provided helpful tips on getting to Rome, but sometimes it felt a bit crowded as they tended to handle multiple customers at once.
Location
8.0
The location is lovely and less frequented by tourists, making it a great base for exploring Castelini Romani and other hillside towns like Frascati.
Dining
6.0
The dining was above average with a decent buffet, but it didn't feel up to four-star standards. The selection was simple, but I appreciated having food ready for us early on our departure day.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were basic and didn't offer much in terms of luxury, which was a little underwhelming for the price.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were very clean and had a charming touch with their architecture, but they weren't as spacious as I had hoped. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired, feeling a bit snooty and unwelcoming. The location was unique, offering a glimpse into a less touristy part of Italy, but the ambience outside could use some love. The breakfast was varied and mostly satisfying, although I felt it wasn't quite worth the cost.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a few quirks.
